Under the next door
The Player arrives at a motel in a remote area to rest, but quickly finds out that something is not right, but getting to safety isn’t going to be so easy.
This is my second horror game, it was made in around 2 weeks for a college project, it's not exactly how I wanted but it was the best I could do with the given deadline and loads of exams.
Controls:
- Left Button Mouse - interact with objects
- Space - jump
- Left ctrl - crouch
- F - Flashlight (When you have it)
- ESC - pause game
- WASD - walk
- SHIFT - run

Great game, enjoyed the mood and the gameplay. I liked that there were some tricks to playing faster. Not usually a chase game fan but this was fun, and I stuck it through to get both results. I found your secret room/picture too, the only door that yells. Thanks for creating :)
Thanks! Honestly i hate this game, i made it in a rush for a College Project, so it didnt ended up to be what I wanted. The only thing that I actually enjoy about this game is the easter egg you found, you are probably the first one hahah, so congrats. Anyways, thanks for the support

It's nice for youtubers, to know exactly where all sounds/music comes from (and sometimes in game picture/artworks)
and it's wonderful that you give credit to the those providing resources even the ones that say you don't need to credit them.
I do hope you continue to do this for your future games. Whether it be in the form of credits in game or on the store page.
Im glad you had a good time! And Yes, the games didnt end up the way I wanted, specially "under the next door", I really hate it."The parking lot" was ok at best. And about crediting creators I will always do that, I think is super important and more people should do that, without creators that make their work available for free, it would be much harder to make games. Well done! I was on edge when trying to track down the backpack, and you didn't force the player to do a bunch of tedious stuff to get to playing the second ending. Good work and keep on making games!

This was a cool horror game about the main character heading to a motel to rest before losing his backpack and having to encounter massive difficulties and obstacles to get of the motel safely. I have managed to get both endings of the game and I definitely played quite a few times before being able to get the good ending. I enjoyed the short playthrough of the game as the game is pretty straightforward when it comes to what the main character should do. The starting scene of getting the key to the room was definitely really creepy and the gradual transition to a horror chasing game was also really horrifying as well. I definitely did not expect a motel horror game to end up the way it would for this game. Also, I actually didn't know that the monster was a crab instead of a spider until I died XD.
For anyone who is having issues with moving the mouse, just adjust the mouse sensitivity settings in the game as that was what I did to play the game. (There is an error with the word used "sensibility" instead of sensitivity) I think I might have been so desperate that I found a way to cause the monsters to bug out but it doesn't really affect the game overall. I shift ran all the way back to where I came from and then spammed jump to stay alive for as long as possible until the monsters couldn't chase me anymore lel. It took a bit of time to realise that I wasn't supposed to do that XD.
