My thoughts on the game:
The ending was a little anticlimactic and random, you find your car and are suddenly surrounded by monsters? whaT?
There is no explanation to the monster - it's appearance and disappearance into thin air. If the protagonist was shown to be under medication such as "I need to get my medication", it would've made more sense for everything.
I wish the game was longer, it's such a unique idea.
The monster is very visible, makes no sound, and is easy to outrun. If it showed up with a bang/screaming etc.. and chased you with sounds or an animation, it would be 10x scarier.
Imo for static monsters I think it's better to take inspiration from IMSCARED. The game uses the darkness and sounds to freak you out by giving you less and less information on where the monster is, while of course you walk through a whole parking lot maze. This game on the other hand, lights everything up and makes the monster quiet.
There's a black box way off in the distance that can be seen.
Overall, amazing concept and nice graphics. I wish the game took a scarier turn though with the use of sounds, darkness and a car-maze type of pattern. (Fog could've also helped a little)

First of all I think is awesome that you guys are making speedruns of it, so thanks. So, about the 1.0 version, I dont think that the changes are going to help you save any time. The three changes were about the lights, sound and the ramp, in which I put a huge rectangle so that the players dont fall off the building. But I would love to make a version to the speedruns, if you could tell me what I have to do to help you guys, ill do it. Anyways, thanks
Ah shoot, when I saw "fixed a ramp" I got my hopes up. If anything, I would love if an in-game timer was available. It's annoying bc I have to go and open up my video editing software every time I think I get a PB. Below are the current timing rules. Thanks for reading my comment btw :)
time starts as soon as the loading screen ends and "Find your car" appears in the UI.
time ends as soon as the car rusts and "DIE" appears in the UI.
My god, I did not notice what subversion you did with the keys. I was not expecting that at all, and the story behind this is so intriguing.
You have created such a great atmosphere. And honestly looking for your keys is already scary at night, but now thinking. I almost lost it during the car alarm moment.
My only critique is that it's incredibly short. But other than that, I very much recommend this. It's the first game in the video above. I'll be keeping an eye on anything else you put out.
That was a super unique concept with the car keys, and the atmosphere really emphasized it nicely. If it would've happened to me in real life i'd probably freak out lol
I actually dont like how the Parking lot turned out at the end, but it was decent, someday ill probably make it better, right now im working on a new horror game, which is also a college project, it will be out next week. Also, i had already played your game "remember?" and its awesome, you had a super original idea, keep it up the great work!
The game goes from 0 to 100 real fast which makes it great. I liked the car interaction but would have liked it more if the button for the keys where close to the movement keys. But everything else is fantastic!
